Entering Data into a Text Box

To enter data directly into any of the various text boxes throughout the IMM users should follow these steps:

  1. Using the mouse to select the text box (cursor should then be flashing within the text box).
  2. Entering the text in and finishing each paragraph with an enter key.
  3. Saving the data using the button.

The data should appear in the IMM as the raw data that has been entered in by the user.

If users choose to paste data in from an external application (such as MS Word) this is done by:

  1. Copying the data from the external application (ensure that no formatting has been applied to the text by the external application).
  2. Using the mouse to select the text box (cursor should then be flashing within the text box).
  3. Pasting the data in using either Ctrl-V or by pressing the right mouse button and selecting paste.
  4. Saving the data using the button.

All text entered should contain correct grammar and punctuation.
